These Terms govern your use of Futurologist.io ("the site," "we," "our," "us") and any products, services, content, or features we provide. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By visiting Futurologist.io, subscribing to our newsletter, submitting a sponsor application, joining a waitlist, or otherwise interacting with our services, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. Description of services

Futurologist.io provides a free weekly newsletter covering embodied AI, robotics, hardware, and mental performance content. We also operate a sponsor program for advertisers, and we plan to launch nootropic supplement products in the future. Additional services may be added over time.

3. Intellectual property

All content on Futurologist.io — articles, newsletter issues, images, logo, copy, code, and design — is owned by Futurologist.io or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish substantial portions without written permission.

4. User conduct

When using this site, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content beyond what's allowed by our robots.txt.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source from compiled assets.
• Redistribute newsletter content as if it were your own.
• Submit false or misleading information through forms.
• Use the site to send spam, phishing, or malicious content.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

5. Newsletter and email communications

By subscribing, you authorize us to send you our weekly newsletter and occasional related communications. We send issues on Tuesdays (give or take). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. After unsubscribing, you may still receive transactional emails (e.g., order confirmations) if you've made a purchase.

6. Sponsorships

Sponsorship arrangements are governed by a separate insertion order or written agreement signed between Futurologist.io and the sponsor. Submitting a sponsor application via this site does not create a binding agreement. We reserve the right to accept or reject any sponsor application at our sole discretion.

7. Future e-commerce (supplements and digital products)

We plan to launch nootropic supplements and may introduce digital products. When that happens, separate terms governing purchases — including pricing, shipping, returns, and refunds — will apply at checkout. By placing an order, you'll be agreeing to those additional terms.

8. Content disclaimer

The content we publish is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, financial advice, legal advice, or investment advice. Do your own research and consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on what you read here. We may receive affiliate compensation when readers click certain links — this never influences which products we recommend.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Futurologist.io and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, the newsletter, or any product or service we provide. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or its content is limited to the amount you've paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any part of our services at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the site at any time and unsubscribe from emails.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as our services evolve. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers via the newsletter. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
